Frequently asked questions

Will there be an off-site shuttle service?


None will be offered outside the parking areas and the event venue.




What are the times that vendors may begin setting up?


Vendors can begin setting up on Thursday, October 17th at 5 pm. Vendors will be allowed to bring in trailers or to set up canopies.




When will the gates open for parking?


Gates will open on Friday, October 18th and Saturday, October 19th at 8:00 a.m. each day. Tickets must be presented at the gate and wristbands put on in order to enter. Vehicle parking is free.




When will the concert seating areas open?


Once the soundchecks are completed by each band, you will be able to set up your chairs in the designated concert viewing areas. Guests are asked to bring their own lawn chair or blanket for seating. Chairs must be removed from bags prior to entering the festival areas to expedite the screening process.




Do you have handicap accessible parking and seating available?


Yes, there will be handicap accessible seating available. Please keep in mind that a large portion of the path towards the venue area is grass. Handicap parking is available on the southern most runway at the expo area to the east end. You will need to display your state issued handicap permit or license plate. Handicap restrooms are also available. Transportation to seating area is available.




Are children allowed in the festival?


Yes, children are allowed in the venue. Ten (10) and under are free with each paid admission. Eleven and up will be required to have a full priced ticket.




Are chairs provided for the concerts?


Guests are asked to bring their own lawn chair or blanket for seating. Chairs must be removed from bags prior to entering the festival areas to expedite the screening process.




Can I bring my own food and drinks into the concert area?


No outside food or beverages are allowed inside the concert area. We will have LOTS of vendors on-site selling food, beverages, and other retail products.




Can I bring a bag into the concert area?


We ask that you bring a clear bag into the concert area. All items must be visible. Should a clear bag not be available… please be prepared to dump the entire contents of bag out for inspection. All bags are subject to search.




Are there any items that I cannot bring into the festival?


The following items are prohibited at Rock-N-Q on the Planes:

- Wagons

- Drugs or drug paraphernalia

- Illegal or illicit substance of any kind

- Coolers

- Professional cameras or recording equipment

- Personal drones or flying devices

- Firearms, explosives or weapons of any kind including pocket knives, pepper spray, fireworks, etc.

- Skateboards, bicycles, or scooters (excluding handicap)

- Pets excluding service animals (must have appropriate paperwork)




Can I get a refund if it rains?


Rain or shine, the show will go on! No rufunds are available.




Security and Entry


Please Note: Every attendee will be searched prior to entry into the seating venue. By purchasing a ticket, you agree to submit to a search upon entry. Including but not limited to a full pat-down, emptying of bags and pockets, and/or having all of your items examined. Police officers and private security will work both inside and outside the event area.




Zero Tolerance Policy


The use or possession of any illegal drugs will not be tolerated anywhere inside or outside the venue. Do not bring any illegal substances to the event. Violators will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.

Those patrons who exhibit extreme public intoxication, are involved in physical altercations or exhibit abusive behavior which creates a nuisance to the public are subject to immediate removal from the concert grounds without warning.

Photo ID is required for everyone 21 or older to consume alcohol. Minors consuming alcohol will be removed from the concert area and wristbands will be removed. Do not purchase or provide alcohol to minors. Authorities are onsite and will be watching for this so don’t make that mistake and have it ruin your weekend. Be responsible / Take care of one another.

Leave your valuables at home. If you leave them in your vehicle or camper, please be sure they are out of sight. ROCK-N-Q ON THE PLANES is not responsible for lost or stolen items or damage to vehicles or campers.




Severe Weather Guide


Rock-N-Q on the Planes has made arrangements with the Army National Guard building located at the east end of the venue in case of severe weather. Lightning meters and contact with the various weather services will be kept at all times. In the event of severe weather security personnel will drive through the parking and festival areas and attendees will be notified. As you know, severe weather in Kansas can come at any time. In case of lightning seek shelter in your vehicle or camper. If you remain outside it is best to stay away from trees and other tall objects that can attract lightning. In case of a thunderstorm warning, please seek shelter in your vehicle or camper.




Do I have to wear my wristband all weekend?


Yes, wristbands must be visible at all times.

To purchase and consume alcohol, you must also have an alcohol wristband. Alcohol wristbands are only available to persons 21 years of age or older. You must present your state-issued photo ID to receive one. Any minors that consume alcohol will be removed from the concert area and will have their wristbands removed!




Can I bring my golf cart or ATV?


No personal golf carts are allowed at ROCK-N-Q ON THE PLANES unless you are a sponsor. (Additional rules apply.)
